Laura + Miles | Wild Carrot Wedding in St. Louis

Laura and Miles' August wedding at Wild Carrot was colorful, relaxed, and full of personality from beginning to end. Located in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis near Tower Grove Park, Wild Carrot gave us an incredible mix of indoor and outdoor spaces without needing to move the wedding day between multiple locations.

Laura chose blue bridesmaid dresses with bright pink and orange florals, while Miles and the groomsmen wore charcoal and light gray. The combination photographed beautifully against Wild Carrot's greenery and distinctive St. Louis setting.

Getting Ready at Wild Carrot

Laura spent the first part of the day getting ready at Wild Carrot with her bridesmaids before getting into her Sarah Seven wedding dress. Before seeing Miles, she also shared first looks with her dad and brother.

Wedding Party Photos at Wild Carrot

Laura and Miles had a huge wedding party, with nine bridesmaids and sixteen groomsmen, so we took advantage of the time before the ceremony for most of their wedding party portraits.

Keeping the portraits at Wild Carrot made the photography timeline especially easy. We could move between different areas of the property without adding travel time into an already full wedding day.

An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in St. Louis

Laura and Miles held their ceremony outside at Wild Carrot in the early evening. The colorful pink and orange florals stood out beautifully against the outdoor setting, especially paired with the blue bridesmaid dresses.

Wild Carrot sits in St. Louis' Shaw neighborhood near Tower Grove Park, making it a great option for couples who want a St. Louis wedding venue with both indoor character and outdoor space.

Laura + Miles' Wedding Portraits

After the ceremony, we stayed at Wild Carrot for family photographs and additional portraits of Laura and Miles.

One of the biggest advantages of photographing a wedding entirely at one venue is being able to step back outside later when the light changes. We were able to photograph Laura and Miles again around sunset before heading fully into the reception.

Wild Carrot Wedding Reception

The reception continued inside Wild Carrot with introductions, Laura and Miles' first dance, dinner, speeches, and parent dances before the dance floor opened for the evening.

Their vendor team included Spin Society for DJ entertainment, Snap Dragon for florals, Seed Sprout Spoon for catering, and Mellowcreme Donuts for dessert.
